About the service
Working alongside our gastroenterology consultants and the wider multi-disciplinary team (MDT), we provide specialist support to those suffering from inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). We run a telephone helpline Monday to Friday, providing patients with access to the service.
We run nurse-led clinics both face-to-face and via telephone. We work closely with the wider gastroenterology team to ensure collaborative working, achieving the best outcome for our patients.
The service we offer looks after patients with IBD including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

Service information
The IBD / gastroenterology services operate Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 16:30 (excluding bank holidays).
The IBD nursing team consists of Eve Henderson and Fay McClure.
