Directions to Blaydon by car
From the A1
- At junction 73, take the A694 exit to Consett/Whickham/Swalwell/B6317
- At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Derwenthaugh Rd/A694
- At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Shibdon Rd/B6317
- The turning for Blaydon Urgent Treatment Centre is 30m ahead on the right.
By coach or bus
- Disembark at Gateshead Interchange.
- Taxis are available outside the Interchange.
- Blaydon is served by a number of local buses from the town centre’s interchange as well as the Metrocentre.
