The Dementia Nursing Team consists of two Dementia Nurse Practitioners, Julia Nevin and Christine Fawcett.
The Dementia Nurse Practitioner assess/support patients with dementia and their families whilst in hospital. They also provide staff training and ward-based support around dementia care, as well as delirium and enhanced care.
It is also the role of Dementia Nurse Practitioner to ensure the hospital is a dementia friendly environment.

The service is currently available:
- Monday – 8am – 5:30pm
- Tuesday – Thursday – 8am – 6pm
- Friday – 8am – 4pm
