A huge congratulations to the St Bedes Team who smashed the 5k Colour Run which was held on Saturday 10th June 2023 at Newcastle Racecourse.
The St Bedes Team tackled the Colour Obstacle Rush which included 20 obstacles. They worked their way through 8 colour stations, 20 music stations, foam and much more. All while raising funds in support of their patients who spend time on the St Bedes Unit, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead.
Keely Taylor, St Bedes Unit Ward Manager wanted to thank all of her team who took part on the day and also all who made donations in support of the QE Charity St Bedes Palliative Care Fund.
Clare Drummond, Charitable Funds Manager, said “A huge well done to the St Bedes Team for their amazing efforts on Saturday. The team work so hard all year round fundraising, going above and beyond in tackling challenges and hosting events in support of their patients who they so compassionately care for ensuring they are as comfortable as possible. The team are a true inspiration.”
