The world’s biggest and best half marathon returns on Sunday 13 September with record breaking numbers set to represent Gateshead Health Charity.
76 dedicated runners will be raising funds for the charity, supporting 21 departments and causes within Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust.
They join 63,000 incredible AJ Bell Great North Run participants, who will run from the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne to South Shields to fundraise, have fun, achieve a fitness goal, and join an amazing running community, no matter their experience or ability.
The support of our runners helps Gateshead Health Charity go above and beyond the statutory requirements of the NHS, providing additional support for patients and staff. Together, we can continue to make a positive impact right here in Gateshead.
