A patient who has had knee replacement surgery at Gateshead Health, shares his experience after treatment at the Peter Smith Surgery Centre:
I have recently been discharged from Ward 28 at the QE Hospital after knee replacement surgery.
I would like to thank and compliment you on the excellent service provided from the reception at the Peter Smith Surgical unit and all the way through the system.
Every one was very friendly and helpful. Mr Singisetti and his team were very professional and took time to explain what was going to happen with the procedure and the risks involved. They took time to reassure me for what I considered to be a very traumatic operation.
Needless to say I am relieved that it’s over and I am very much looking forward to having more mobility in the future and getting my life back on track!
