The atmosphere was truly heartwarming, as patients interacted with the students, some even joining in with the carols and festive songs. The joy on everyone’s faces was a testament to the power of music to lift spirits and bring people together, especially during the Christmas season.

The visit was a welcome distraction for many patients and a highlight for staff working hard during this busy time of year. The students demonstrated not only their exceptional talent but also their kindness and community spirit.

A big thank you to Newcastle College and their Musical Theatre students for taking the time to make this day so special. Your efforts are deeply appreciated and have brought festive joy to all at JASRU and Gateshead Health.
