We are delighted to announce the appointment of our new Medical Director. Following a rigorous process, Dr Carmen Howey has accepted our offer of appointment.
Carman has a true commitment to the health and wellbeing of patients and staff in both the Trust and across our communities. She has an established career in Gateshead Health FT as both a Paediatrician and has been working as the Head of Clinical Service in the Medicine business unit in recent years.
Carmen is looking forward to continuing to build wider relationships with staff and stakeholders and help to lead our organisation to be the best place to work and receive care in the NHS.
