Brave Molly will be taking the plunge in a exciting 15,000ft skydive on 4 June. This will be the first year anniversary of Molly’s mother Tricia Hughes who sadly lost her fight to Ovarian Cancer.
Molly has chosen to raise money for St Bede’s Charitable Fund following the amazing care her mam received from the St Bede’s team during her final days on the unit surrounded by her loving family.
Molly explained “for those who may not know about the St Bede’s Unit, this is an end of life unit where staff provide a loving, calming environment for those in need of palliative care and their families. The St Bede’s Unit offers a range of care and support through heart warming family rooms, care packages, beautiful gardens, events for families to make memories and much more.
“I am raising funds which will help support more families going through devastating times, just like my family have with the support of this amazing team. The majority of St Bede’s amenities offered are funded through donations and fundraising.
“No donation is too small and all donations will be gratefully appreciated by myself, my family and the St Bede’s Team”.
