Vish Bhattacharya is a Consultant General and Upper GI Surgeon since April 2002.
He also performed Vascular Surgery till 2019 but discontinued this following centralization of Vascular services to Freeman.
He is also the Associate Medical Director (Patient Safety and Quality) and an Associate Lecturer Newcastle University. He is an examiner for the Intercollegiate FRCS exam and has published 3 books and over 100 articles in indexed journals.
