Dr Glenda M Horne is a consultant microbiologist in the pathology department of QE Gateshead.
She graduated from Aberdeen University in 1989 and went on to work in general medicine, before training in medical microbiology and virology. Dr Horne has been a consultant since 2000.
Special interests
Dr Horne’s main areas of interest are infection prevention and control and laboratory quality assurance.
