Dr Kerry Waterfield is a consultant for community palliative care specialising in palliative medicine at Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust.
She said: “Originally from Northern Ireland, I have lived in Gateshead for over 20 years and love the place and the people and am so grateful for the opportunity to work here.”
