- Registration fee: Get an early bird special price of £60 if you sign up before the end of September (places will be £70 after the early bird offer closes), with a commitment to raise £300 for Gateshead Health Charity.You can choose to pay in three monthly instalments of the full £60 upfront, select your preferred option on the registration form.

Who can take part
You do not need to be an experienced runner. Many people do the Great North Run to fundraise, have fun, achieve a fitness goal, and join an amazing running community, no matter their experience or ability.

This iconic race has welcomed millions of runners since 1981, and this year we mark an incredible 46 years of the famous event, and the biggest Great North Run yet!
