Your local women’s health bus is coming to you

The Newcastle Community Health Bus is coming to Gateshead to bring essential health services directly to local communities.

Part of Gateshead Women’s Health Hub, (working in partnership with Newcastle GP Services and affectionately known as “Monty”) the bus provides women and girls access to services such as menopause support, cervical screening, gynaecological care, and sexual health/contraception services – all in one convenient place.

In partnership with organisations across Gateshead, the bus visits local communities to ensure more women and girls can access the care they need. This initiative builds on extensive community feedback, addressing local health priorities while supporting Gateshead Health’s ambition to become a Northern Centre of Excellence for Women’s Health.
