Amber Weather Warning for Snow in the North East

The Met Office has upgraded its weather warning to amber for snow in the North East. This amber warning is in effect from 9:00 PM on Saturday 4 January and will last until 11:59 PM on Sunday 5 January. Additionally, a yellow warning for snow and ice is in place from 12:00 PM on Saturday 4 January to 11:59 PM on Sunday 5 January.
