Dr Salman Razvi has been a consultant endocrinologist since 2007 and a senior clinical lecturer at Newcastle University.
He said: “Gateshead Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides the necessary framework to be able to help patients feel the best they possibly can.”
Special interests
Dr Razvi has a special interest in the management of thyroid disorders and he leads various research projects relating to thyroid diseases.
He is also Director of Research and Development and likes to try new and innovative ways of tackling problems.
